By using the Sofa & Armchair UK website and placing an order, you enter a legally binding contract with Werelax Limited. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not place an order.

Accuracy & Variations

We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, images and prices. Small variations in colour, texture, size or detailing may occur.

  • Always check access and dimensions before ordering

Care & Maintenance

Follow the manufacturer's care instructions. Damage caused by misuse, unsuitable cleaning products, dye transfer, heat or sunlight is not considered a fault.

Pricing & Payment

Price Information

Prices are shown in GBP and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you confirm your order.

Payment is usually taken when you place the order.

Pricing Errors

We take care to show correct prices, but errors can happen. If we discover a clear pricing mistake, we will either cancel and refund your order or contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price.

Delivery & Shipping

Delivery Options

Delivery options and costs are confirmed during checkout. Most furniture is delivered by our 2 man home delivery team to your room of choice, subject to safe access. Some areas may be kerbside delivery only.

⚠️ Important Note: All delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

Access Requirements

You must ensure access is suitable. This includes checking:

  • Doorway sizes and clearances
  • Stairways and turns
  • Available room space

Our team will assess access on arrival and may refuse delivery if it is unsafe or likely to cause damage.

Delivery Day Requirements

  • You or someone aged 16+ must be available to accept delivery
  • For health and safety reasons, drivers cannot remove their shoes
  • You are responsible for protecting floors and walkways

Inspection & Damage Claims

If you do not use our unpack and install service, you must check packaging for visible damage, take photos if needed and inspect the product within 48 hours. Any issues should be reported directly to customer services with photos or video.

Failed Deliveries

If we cannot deliver because no one is available, the goods do not fit, access is blocked or other reasons under your control, failed delivery and restocking charges may apply. You can avoid these by contacting us at least 2 working days before your delivery date to rearrange.

✓ Ownership Transfer: The product is your responsibility once payment has been received in full and delivery or collection is complete. If using your own carrier, risk passes to you once goods leave our control.

Returns & Refunds

Change of Mind Period

We offer an extended change of mind cancellation period of 30 days from delivery or collection by your own carrier.

Return Process

To cancel, you must notify us in writing and return the goods within 14 days of cancellation. Products should be returned in their original or suitable protective packaging, with all components and instructions.

Return Costs

Unless the product is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return. If you ask us to collect, we may charge a return fee based on product size and weight.

Refund Deductions

We may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value caused by:

  • Use or handling of the product
  • Damage or missing parts
  • Inadequate packaging

Refund Timeline

Refunds are made to the original payment method once goods are received and inspected, normally within 4 days. For finance orders, refunds are paid to the finance provider after the goods are returned.

Faulty Products

If your product is faulty or not as described, contact customer services. We may repair, replace or refund in line with your legal rights. Where a product is confirmed faulty and cannot be repaired, we will collect it at our cost.

⚖️ Consumer Rights: Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations remain unaffected by these terms.

User Responsibilities

When using our website and placing an order, you agree that:

  • You are purchasing for personal use, not for resale
  • The details you provide are accurate and complete
  • You have checked access and suitability of the product
  • You will follow product safety and care instructions
  • You are responsible for any charges from your bank, card issuer, finance provider or chosen carrier
